Took my hybrid out to see my Friends new car. He upgrades from a 2003 Grand Am to a 2014 Charger R/T. He has the coolest car out of anyone I know IRL

My favourite modern Charger, especially the R/T trim. Is his the base R/T or does it have one of the other R/T packages like Road&Track.
Also, ‘03 Grand Am to a ‘14 Charger R/T is a huge upgrade.

Good for him! I have a soft spot for the Charger/300, being large, RWD sedans that depreciate quickly so they wind up being fair used car deals, though sadly most folks I see them with so mot take food care of them.
I'm glad they changed the automatic shifter for 2015: the 2013 and 2014 models with the 8-speed have the most frustrating automatic selector I've yet encountered, including the Germans' offerings. I've shifted into Park accidentally so many times when trying to select Reverse. They would make poor car chase vehicles. The rotary knob is much better, though while I still accidentally select Park once in a while, it's nowhere near as bad and much more obvious. I hope your friend got a manual, though.

I think his is a regular R/T. He has everything except for adaptive cruise control, but no extra performance bits
He is going to buy a tuning kit for it to up the horsepower to SRT levels

Black interior. It’s fully black everything. I also like the red interior on the Charger though. His dad owns the same car except in a bright blue, It’s pretty cool actually/
